For the past 25 years LA Dye & Wash has been an industry leader in dyeing, washing, and treatments. We pride ourselves in encouraging our customers to work closely with us to create brand new washes and techniques that are currently not on the market. Laboratory:
Quality dyeing always starts in the lab. Selection of the finest dye materials is our #1 concern. Inferior dyes will not produce consistent formulas. We are proud to say we purchase all of our dyes and chemicals from one local distributor for the past 23 years. This ensures we receive only the finest dyes that are always consistent from batch to batch.
Dyeing:
Los Angeles Dye & Wash has six 1100 lb. washers, four 400 lb. washers, and two 50 lb. washers, which are capable of producing 40,000 lbs in one shift. Our fourteen sample machines are able to produce 50 to 75 colors a day. This is so important because it allows us to provide same day sample service to our customers.
Dryers:
To compensate for all the dyeing machines we have Los Angeles Dye & Wash has equipped its self with several Consolidated dryers. All of our dryers are computer controlled for precise heat control to achieve the specifications required by each individual customer.
Quality:
Upon completion all of our garments are stringently quality tested to ensure the best possible product. By controlling each dye load number we can maintain customer lot integrity. Each load is inspected first for color then inspected a second time for overall evenness and hand feel softness. Our department will, if desired, work with your quality control inspector in showing how to properly inspect the garments.
Shipping:
Los Angeles Dye & Wash knows that time is of the essence. We have 2 of our own trucks plus outside carriers to ensure you get your product or pick-up on time. Our fleet runs from 7:30 in the morning until 6:00 at night or until the job is done. All garments are counted on pickup and are weighed by our computerized floor scales on arrival to ensure accuracy. Our trucks are fully insured and pick-up within Los Angeles and Orange County.
